What does Opsgenie offer GitLab users?

Opsgenie offers an integration with GitLab where pushes, merge requests, and issues in GitLab create alerts in Opsgenie. Opsgenie determines the right people to notify based on on-call schedules– notifies via email, text messages (SMS), phone calls, iOS & Android push notifications, and escalates alerts until the alert is acknowledged or closed.

Functionality of the integration

When a push is made to your project in GitLab, it creates an alert in Opsgenie.
When a merge request is created in your project in GitLab, it creates an alert in Opsgenie.
When a merge request is updated in your project in GitLab, it adds a note to the alert in Opsgenie.
When a merge request is closed in your project in GitLab, it closes the alert in Opsgenie.
When an issue is created in your project in GitLab, it creates an alert in Opsgenie.
When an issue is closed in your project in GitLab, it closes the alert in Opsgenie.
When an issue is updated in your project in GitLab, it adds a note to the alert in Opsgenie.
