Import Observer or Stakeholder Users via CSV

This CSV file can be used as a template for importing Observer or Stakeholder users: Template CSV File

Important Note: After downloading this template as a CSV file, please add the import mode (“safe”, “enforced” or “add-only”) at the begining of the file (first line). The import options are:

safe - Insert new users and merge data for existing users
-i.e. if the user has tag_1 and uploaded version has tag_2 then result will be tag_1, tag_2.

enforced - Insert new users and override data for existing users
-i.e. if the user has tag_1 and uploaded version has tag_2 then result will be tag2.

add-only - Only insert new users and do not update existing users.
-i.e. if the user has tag_1 and uploaded version has tag_2 then result will be tag1.

Data Fields

While preparing your CSV file, make sure you have the same column names with the table below. Column names should not be changed except for the customized columns (tag#, field#, value_#).
Using a spreadsheet software, like Microsoft Excel, you can download your files in CSV format easily.
In the table below, you can see which fields are required or have a mandatory format. Even if you want to leave a field value empty, please make sure you do not delete the column for that user.

type	yes	type of the user you want to create	valid values are "observer" or "stakeholder"
tag_#		You can add any number of tags.	Tags should be given under seperate field titles such as “tag_1”, “tag_2” etc.
field_#		Custom fields are for the additional information.  Enter the name of the field in “field#” and the the related value for the field in “value#”.  You can add any number of field#/value# pairs, as needed. A custom field can have multiple values related to it. In this case values should be named as “value_1.1”, “value_1.2” etc. where “1” is the id of the related custom field.	field_1,field_2,field_3
